Mr. Hanson cut the symbolic red ribbon and announced the offices ”open for business” on Wednesday [18th February 2009]. He welcomed the new facility, to be the nerve centre of Labour’s campaign to retake Clwyd West constituency at the next General Election, and for the European elections to be held this June.

“Labour stands for decency, fairness, opportunity for all and protection of the vulnerable. The Tories care nothing for the less well off and represent big money,” said Mr. Hanson. “These new offices will be an important focus for us; somewhere we can set out our stall for all electors to see.”

Donna Hutton, Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate said, “I am delighted we have formally opened our new offices, which will really give our campaign a boost. I am grateful to the Minister for finding time in his very busy diary to show his confidence that the people of Clwyd West constituency will return to Labour at the next election.”
