THIS IS NO TIME FOR A RETURN TO CRUELTY!
Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate for Clwyd West constituency, Donna Hutton, joined other activists to lobby a Welsh Conservatives’ conference on Saturday (23/11/08).

The hastily re-arranged and poorly publicised conference in Llandudno’s Imperial Hotel nevertheless attracted a number of hardy protestors, braving cutting winds and low temperatures to make their point.
Mrs Hutton said:
“It is time to move on, we have plenty of other issues to concern us, from jobs and the credit crunch to terrorism and energy production.
“So how far out of touch can the Tories get? Well, every Welsh Conservative MP backs a free vote on the Hunting Act so they can get rid of it, if they get back into power.
“Yet a recent MORI poll found that even their own supporters do not want this sort of cruelty to again be made legal!
“Which is why we felt we had to lobby the - almost impossible to find - Welsh Tory Conference last Saturday, to try to persuade them to see sense!”
ENDS.
