“I am delighted and honoured that the people of Glyn Ward have chosen me to represent them on Colwyn Bay Town Council. I shall do the best job I can to look after and promote their interests,” said newly-elected Councillor Porter.

“Don is a hard working and thoroughly decent person, he is the right choice for Glyn,” said Donna Hutton, Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate, who joined Don on the campaign trail.

“And the Tories were too scared to even put up a candidate!” she concluded.

Liberal Democrats 78 votes, Independent 68, British National Party 35, Independent 26.

Ends.
